Myanmar Embassy joins the ASEAN Committee in Rome’s celebration of the 58th ASEAN Day
The ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) hosted the celebration of the 58th ASEAN Day on 3 October 2025, and the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Rome joined fellow members of ASEAN Embassies and ASEAN Dialogue Partner embassies. The event took place at the Royal Thai Embassy, the current chair of the ACR, bringing together Ambassadors, senior diplomats, and distinguished guests in a vibrant display of regional unity and cultural exchange.
This year, the event reflected the cultural richness of ASEAN, featuring a buffet of traditional dishes from each ACR member state. Representing Myanmar’s culinary heritage, the Embassy presented its signature delicacies — Snow Fungus and Shrimp Salad and Mango Coconut Jelly.
The event was attended by the Director General for Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, alongside Ambassadors and Representatives from ASEAN Dialogue Partner embassies and other invited dignitaries.
