Myanmar Embassy in Rome participated in the 7th Edition of Diplomacy Education 2024, organized by the Global Action: Global Knowledge to Youth Leaders (9 May 2024)
Myanmar Embassy in Rome had an honour and a great pleasure to collaborate with the Global Action: Global Knowledge to Youth Leaders through its participation in the 7th Edition of Diplomacy Education 2024.
At Step 1, a representative from the Embassy delivered a lecture on Myanmar to the high-school students at the Papareschi Higher Education Institute, where he introduced the basic facts of Myanmar including its strategic location, people of Myanmar and their unique culture and traditions, national landmarks, and the overall Myanmar-Italy bilateral relations and cooperation. As Step 2 proceeds, the students visited the Embassy, where they were welcomed and greeted by the Ambassador and the Embassy’s staff. During the visit, the Ambassador briefed the overall functions of the Embassy, which is also serving as the Permanent Representation of Myanmar to the Rome-based UN Agencies and other International Organisations. At the end of the tour, the students enjoyed traditional, typical foods of Myanmar. The two students expressed their heartfelt thanks to the Embassy for its warm hospitality.
Indeed, Myanmar Embassy in Rome was honoured to participate in the 7th Edition of Diplomacy Education 2024 and to host Italian students and serve them with Myanmar foods!
