Attestation of Certification

Various documents such as Birth Certificate / Marriage Certificate / Degrees/ Diploma / Driving license, etc needed for attestation / certification should be notarized by a registered Notary Public in Myanmar and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MOFA ) of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, prior to submission to the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Rome.

For legalization of documents, the applicant has to provide the following things if the applicant is a Myanmar citizen living in Italian Republic, Portuguese Republic, Hellenic Republic, Romania :

1. Personal Request Letter addressing to ambassador for legalization of documents
2. ID card, Household Member List, Passport Copy, Stay Permit if the applicant is living in Italian Republic, Portuguese Republic, Hellenic Republic, Romania
3. Notary validity must be within (6) months

If the applicant cannot provide original documents, his/her application will be rejected. Please note that Consular Officer reserves the right to request additional documents as necessary
