Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne participated in the 78th ACR Ambassadors’ Meeting and Handing over ceremony of the ACR Chairmanship

Myanmar Ambassador to the Italian Republic H.E. Mrs. Hmway Hmway Khyne participated in the 78th ACR Ambassadors’ Meeting and Handing over Ceremony of the ACR Chairmanship from Indonesia to Thailand, which was held at the Royal Thai Embassy on 17 February 2025.
At the meeting, the Ambassadors and Chargé d’Affaires reviewed ACR’s activities under the Chairmanship of Indonesia and cordially discussed and exchanged views on the ongoing activities of the ACR and further activities to be carried out including collaboration with the Italian Confederation of Craft Trades and Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (CNA) and ACR’s participation at the upcoming Inaugural Edition of ASEAN Horizons organized by ASEAN Youth Organization Italy (AYO Italy).
The meeting was chaired by Indonesia in its capacity as the Chair of ACR and following the Handover Ceremony of Chairmanship, Thailand presided over the meeting, assuming its ACR Chairmanship for the first half of 2025. The ACR Ambassadors and Chargé d’Affaires expressed their deep appreciation to the Indonesian Chairmanship for its efforts and hard work as well as welcomed and thanked the incoming ACR Chairmanship of Thailand for hosting a working lunch and logistic arrangements for the meeting.
