Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne participated in the 71st Ambassadors’ Meeting and Working Luncheon of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR)

On 20 February 2023, Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne participated in the 71st Ambassadors’ Meeting and Working Luncheon of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) at the Embassy of Viet Nam.
During the meeting, ACR Ambassadors and Chargé d’Affaires discussed solidarity activities and future plans of ACR under the Chairmanship of Viet Nam to strengthening of ASEAN-Italy relationship which include engagement with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), cooperation with the Global Action, and identifying possible areas of cooperation with the Axiom Space, Inc.
Following the meeting, ACR Ambassadors and Chargé d’Affaires participated in organised working luncheon with Mr. Romano Prodi, President of Italy-ASEAN Association (former Prime Minister of Italy and President of the European Commission), Mr. Michelangelo Pipan, Vice President, and Mr. Romeo Orlandi, Vice President of the Association, which is one of ACR’s counterparts.
