Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne participates in the ASEAN Committee in Rome meeting with The Honourable Federico Mollicone

H.E. Hmway Hmway Khyne, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Italy, joined the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) in its meeting with The Honourable Federico Mollicone, Member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies and Chairperson of Commission VII (Culture, Science and Education) on 16 October 2025.
The meeting focused on enhancing cultural cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between ASEAN member states and Italy. Both sides discussed a range of potential collaborative programmes aimed at promoting mutual understanding, cultural diversity, and closer ties between the peoples of Italy and the ASEAN nations.
The ASEAN Committee in Rome continues to serve as a key platform for advancing dialogue and cooperation between ASEAN member countries and Italy.
