Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne received Associate Professor Lorenzo Maria Pacini

H.E. Hmway Hmway Khyne, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Italian Republic, received Mr. Lorenzo Maria Pacini, Associate Professor of Political Philosophy and Geopolitics at UniDolomiti of Belluno (Italy) and at UniCampus HETG University of Geneva (Switzerland), accompanied by Mr. Stefano Bonilarui, Publisher and Owner of ANTEO Edizioni, at the Embassy of Myanmar in Rome at 11:00 hrs. on 16 September 2025.
During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the final process of the publication of the Italian translated version of the book “Aspects of Myanmar History” written by Myanmar Author U Thaw Kaung, followed by congratulating Mr. Lorenzo Maria Pacini, the author of the book “Myanmar in the Golden Land” and the publisher on the successful book launch which was held in Myanmar in August. Subsequently, they cordially exchanged views on the ongoing development of Myanmar, the prospects of the upcoming Myanmar elections, and the bilateral relations between Myanmar and Italy.
The meeting provided an opportunity to seek time for jointly organizing a launching ceremony of the book “Aspects of Myanmar History, together with the book “Myanmar in the Golden Land,” in October, to foster understanding of Myanmar’s history as well as the culture in the Italian society.
