Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne attened the 79th ASEAN Committee in Rome(ACR) Ambassadors’ Meeting

Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Italy attended the 79th ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) Ambassadors’ Meeting at the Royal Thai Embassy in Rome on 14th May 2025 at 1500 hrs. The meeting was led by H.E. Mr. Puttaporn Ewtoksan, Ambassador of the Royal Thai Embassy to Italy, as the current ACR Chair, and participated by Ambassadors and Charge’ d Affaires from respective ASEAN Embassies in Rome, namely Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The meeting started with a briefing from the Italian Confederation of Craft Trades and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (CNA), followed by the ACR Ambassadors’ Meeting. During the meeting, the Heads of Mission discussed and exchanged views on the promotion of cooperation between ASEAN member states and Italy.
