Myanmar to develop its collaboration with the ANTEO Edizioni and the Mediterranean Eurasia Studies Center (CeSEM)
In the view of exploring potential areas of collaboration in the exchange of knowledge and for a better understanding of Myanmar, Her Excellency Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne received Mr. Stefano Bonilarui, Publisher and Owner of ANTEO Edizioni and Mr. Stefano Vernole, Vice President and Head of External Relations of Mediterranean Eurasia Studies Center (CeSEM) at the Embassy of Myanmar on 13 November 2024.
The meeting focused on discussions on potential areas of cooperation covering from the geopolitical aspects to social and culture, along with a view of the opportunities to establish relationships of knowledge through developing ties between the relevant Institutions of Myanmar and the ANTEO Edizioni, and the Mediterranean Eurasia Studies Center (CeSEM). As a part of efforts to foster learning and understanding of Myanmar in the Italian society, a Letter of Agreement (LoA) was signed between Myanmar’s Sarpay Beikman and ANTEO Edizioni for the work to carry out publishing the Myanmar book in the Italian language (Translation), entitled “Aspects of Myanmar History and Culture” written by U Thaw Kaung.
We hope this little start-up will have big impact on understanding Myanmar’s history and culture, and pave the way for further developing friendly ties and close collaboration between the Institutions of Myanmar and Italy.
