Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne receives Mr. Andrea Vannini, Honorary Consul designate of Myanmar

On 8 September 2023, Ambassador Hmway Hmway Khyne received Mr. Andrea Vannini, Myanmar Honorary Consul designate in Florence for Tuscany region, who was accompanied by his predecessor Mr. Filippo Bertani, at the Myanmar Embassy in Rome.
During the meeting, the Ambassador extended congratulations to Mr. Andrea Vannini for the latter’s appointment as the Honorary Consul of Myanmar in Tuscany region. Following handing over the Consular Commission signed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar to Mr. Vannini, the Ambassador cordially exchanged views with the Honorary Consul designate on promotion of friendship, people-to-people ties, trade and investments relations, and social and cultural cooperation. During the call, the Ambassador briefed the recent developments in Myanmar.
At the meeting were present by the Deputy Chief of Mission/Minister Counsellor Ms. Nyein Nyein Myint and officials from the Myanmar Embassy in Rome.
