ကုလသမဂ္ဂစားနပ်ရိက္ခာနှင့် စိုက်ပျိုးရေးအဖွဲ့ (FAO) ၏ (၁၈၁) ကြိမ်မြောက် ကောင်စီ အစည်းအဝေးကို အီတလီနိုင်ငံ၊ ရောမမြို့အခြေစိုက် FAO ဌာနချုပ်၌ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၈ ရက်မှ ၁၂ ရက်အထိ ကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ရောမမြို့မှ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ ဦးစိုးသက်နောင် ဦးဆောင်သည့် မြန်မာကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
ကောင်စီအစည်းအဝေးကို Independent Chairperson of the Council ဖြစ်သူ Mr. Mina Rizk က သဘာပတိအဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး FAO ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Dr. Qu Dongyu က FAO အဖွဲ့၏ လက်ရှိဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုအခြေအနေများ၊ ကြုံတွေ့နေရသည့် စိန်ခေါ်မှုများနှင့် အနာဂတ် တွင် ဦးစားပေးဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
ကောင်စီအစည်းအဝေးတွင် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာဖူလုံမှုတွင် ကြုံတွေ့နေရသည့် စိန်ခေါ်မှုများ၊ အကျပ်အတည်းများဖြေရှင်းရာတွင် FAO ၏ အရေးပေါ်တုံ့ပြန်ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ၊ လက်တွဲ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုအစီအစဉ်၏ ဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှုများ၊ အနာဂတ်ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲမှု များအတွက် လုပ်ငန်းအဖွဲ့အသီးသီး၏ လုပ်ကိုင်ဆောင်ရွက်နေမှု အခြေအနေများနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ ကောင်စီအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများအကြား အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် သက်ဆိုင်ရာ ကော်မတီအသီးသီးမှလည်း ကျင်းပပြီးစီးခဲ့သည့် ဒေသဆိုင်ရာကွန်ဖရင့်များနှင့် ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးစီးမှု အစီရင်ခံစာများကို ကောင်စီအစည်းအဝေးသို့ တင်သွင်းခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

Myanmar delegation attends the 181st Session of the Food And Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

(8 to 12 June, 2026, Rome)

Myanmar delegation led by U Soe Thet Naung, Chargé d’ Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Rome, attended the 181st Session of the Food And Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) held at the headquarter of FAO in Rome, Italy from 8 to 12 June 2026.
The Council meeting was chaired by Mr. Mina Rizk, Independent Chairperson of the Council and FAO Director General Dr. Qu Dongyu delivered a briefing on the current status of ongoing activities and challenges of the organization as well as the priority areas in the future.
During the Council meeting, council members discussed and exchanged views on global food security challenges and drivers, FAO emergency interventions in crisis settings, update on the Hand-in-Hand Initiative and progress on the work of the open-ended Working Groups on potential future reforms. In addition, respective Committees also submitted their reports to the Council relating to the regional conferences that had been convened along with the completion and progress reports of their activities.
